JOB DESCRIPTION Ensure accounting records and financial reports are adequately maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Includes:• Review monthly financial reporting• Review calculations of significant / high risk estimates and/or unusual items• Provide ad hoc guidance on accounting application with business partners• Review significant contracts to ensure proper accounting, treatment of non-standard terms and communication to pertinent parties• Manage organization and execution of monthly regional close and consolidation to ensure monthly/quarterly financial statements are produced on a timely, consistent basis to support business decision-making and analysis, and meet all internal and external reporting deadlines• Coordinate quarterly external auditor review process and annual year-end audit for LSA• Serve as the main point of contact for all SEC reporting matters for the Americas• Ad hoc analysis for upper management based on emerging issues or trends• Manage issue resolution resulting from internal or external audit findings• Liaison between the Company’s finance shared service center and the LSA business leaders.• Possesses a strong foundation in GAAP accounting and reporting, is conversant with emerging accounting/reporting issues and trends, and adapts well to changing business needs• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business transactions proposals, apply accounting regulations and communicate results with business professionals• Excellent leadership and communication capabilities, including both written and presentation skills• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects, processes at once• Ability to interface with senior leadership and navigate through organizational boundaries and proactively manage change within an organization Qualifications:• Controllership previous experience required, Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience• Active CPA license required• Experience of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP and consolidations systems such as HFM is preferred Additional Qualifications:• Strong understanding of complex accounting concepts• Thorough understanding of brand revenue and expense components, merchandise strategies, inventory and margin support processes, accounting and control policies, and internal management reporting practices• Strong detail orientation and problem solving skills• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical abilities• Experience working with outsourced financial service model• Solid experience building and leading high performing teams LOCATION1155 Battery St. San Francisco, CA, 94111FULL TIME/PART TIMEFull time
