We are looking for a Senior Designer to focus on denim and non-denim Women's Bottoms for both DENIZEN and Signature. You will bring leadership, innovation and creativity to our team. It is important that you have the energy and passion to move our brands forward while maintaining the integrity of our values.
About the Job
• Build the 18 - 24 month strategy for Women’s Bottoms and Brand Development
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising and Product Development
• Strategize and guide seasonal fabric, fit, finish, style and sundries development by business
• Cultivate a team that is diverse, inclusive and committed to learning and development
• Strategize and manage creation of quantitative and qualitative data trend reports to support seasonal sell-in meetings
• Drive innovation for incremental growth and achieve financial targets for Women’s Bottoms
• Drive decision-making through the lens of the brand and the consumer for each brand
• Manage vendor and mill partnerships and full package development process
• Manage product firewalls by brand to uphold identity and integrity
• Analyze current selling to advise future trends with a deep understanding of the marketplace and the value consumer
• Direct and manage your team to develop sell-in trend reports by business
• Manage and drive seasonal concept and color stories
• Manage team creation and execution of PLM BOM: protos, commercial samples and production
• Strategize and engineer product to meet COGS
• Manage fittings and product development
• Design and develop with a sustainable mindset without compromising aesthetics
About You
• Must have an apparel design degree or proficient industry experience
• At least 8 years' experience in apparel, must have denim bottoms category experience
• Expertise in textiles and product development
• Able to drive technical design packs communicating style, size, proportion and scale
• Proficient on all design platforms – Adobe CC and PLM program
