We are seeking a Manager, Advanced Analytics. The purpose of this role is to facilitate leveraging of insights to influence decisions in areas of marketing and sales spending, pricing and testing to drive profitable growth. Supports Levi Strauss and Company’s (LS&Co.) Advanced Analytics efforts in areas such as Marketing Mix Modeling, Baselining, Market Structure and Forecasting by leveraging techniques such as regression modeling, conjoint analysis, factor and cluster analysis etc. Partners with other Marketplace Insights teams and business unit partners to ensure insights inform development, optimization and analysis of product, marketing programs and retail initiatives for LS & Co brands globally. Inputs into annual research plans and longer term roadmap.

⏵ Delivers timely and integrated analyses leveraging various types of research and data sources to provide an understanding of the external environment affecting the brands, and key actions management/business partners should take to win in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive marketplace.
⏵ Helps inform business decisions with external consumer and marketplace perspective.
⏵ Begins to proactively identify business opportunities based on consumer and marketplace understanding.
⏵ Develops strong and effective working relationships within the function and with key business partners to enable actionable consumer and marketplace insights.
About the Job:
⏵ Aids decision making through rigorous analysis that integrates a spectrum of internal and external resources. Proactively identifies risks and opportunities.
⏵ Collaborates with Insights and business partners to determine key research needs. With guidance from their manager, ensures projects are efficiently planned and managed and delivered in a manner that is clear, compelling, accurate and actionable against business goals.
⏵ Ensures development of integrated analyses, reporting and perspectives to inform global and regional brand strategies and key business issues (includes both advanced analytics and syndicated data/tracking).
⏵ Helps drive a culture of deep consumer-focused and fact-based decisions that becomes internalized by business partners (marketing, retail operations, brand environment and finance), and becomes a foundational element for key decisions in the media optimization and Strategic Revenue Management process.
⏵ Partners with Market Trends and Brand Insights to ensure effective market measurement. Assesses brand and competitive market performance.
⏵ Inputs on and follows standards and best practices
⏵ B.A. /B.S. minimum; advanced degree in Business (MBA) or Social Science (MA, MS in Economics or Statistics) advantageous.
⏵ 3-5 years’ experience in consumer goods and/or supplier side analytics services required.
⏵ Experience in full range of quantitative market research methods, including advanced statistical techniques (conjoint, regression, factor and cluster analysis).
⏵ Proficiency with Marketing Mix Models, Syndicated CPG Data / POS, A/B Testing
⏵ Ability to understand, integrate and synthesize a wide array of data to form insightful observations and clear, actionable business implications
⏵ Ability to help business partners frame key issues and apply information against to address.
⏵ Ability to operate in a collaborative, team-based, performance-driven manner. Ability to earn respect for functional skills and become a valued and integrated partner to the brand and corporation.
⏵ Excellent influence skills, including strong written and oral communication
⏵ Ability to leverage insights to inform business decisions. Must project him/herself to others through actions and manner to convey personal credibility, professionalism and integrity.
