Our employees are committed to progress, authenticity and collaborationWe are looking for a Financial Analyst to provide our Marketing & Merchandising Senior Management & Leadership teams with financial advisory support. You will be an important finance partner for all finance related support, including product, pricing, brand / marketing planning & analysis. You’ll also be a gatekeeper of A&P/OPEX and the contact for product category and pricing financials.

Responsbilities: ⏵ Create continuous reporting improvement, insights / value-added analysis and information beneficial to the Merchandising and Marketing teams to help guide better decisions.
⏵ Provide management reporting & analysis for European marketing spend and direct financial budget support for HQ marketing budgets, including challenging spend and providing advisory support as needed.
⏵ Provide operating expense budget support for HQ Marketing and Merchandising cost centres.
⏵ Manage brand pricing reviews from a finance perspective, ensuring the pricing strategy and gross margins tie with our financial estimations and expectations. Manage process between HQ team and regional Finance/Merchandising teams to ensure accurate input
⏵ Provide monthly, quarterly product performance reporting and insights that creates a deeper understanding of the performance across the region and support Levi Strauss Europe financial reporting to Corporate
⏵ Provide monthly, quarterly gross margin reporting for the region
⏵ Support the Annual Financial Plan (AFP), Strategic business plan (SBP), forecasting cycles and monthly financial closes for brand, marketing, product and gross margin. This includes providing planning and forecasting guidance to the region and local finance and marketing teams, reporting and analysis support for monthly closes and accrual support for HQ expenses, etc.
⏵ Support ad hoc analyses and finance support for business led task forces. 
⏵ Provide direction, training and support to a financial analyst that supports brand finance work on a part time basis.
About You:⏵ Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial planning experience
⏵ US GAAP knowledge preferred specifically around accounting for operating and marketing expenses and activities
⏵ Marketing support experience and knowledge of marketing activities is desirable
⏵ Experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase and Tableau is a plus
