The AV Video Conference Specialist will be based in the San Francisco headquarters and will lead our AV events and AV operations programs at Levis Strauss & Co. As and AV Video Conference Specialist, the Specialist will be responsible AV events (All-Hands meetings, webinars, white glove) and oversee daily operations, maintenance and performance for Levis Strauss & Co. global conference room technology ecosystem. As a team member of the Global Unified Communications team, you will partner with the Service Desk, Collaboration and Network Operations teams, and externally with premier AV Vendors.

⏵ Provide comprehensive AV support for events (when needed) including setup, testing, operation and removal of AV equipment

⏵ Operate and test daily functionality of all AV and integrated conference rooms.

⏵ Perform routine testing and problem diagnosis for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers & LCD/Plasma Displays.

⏵ Perform preventative maintenance to resolve problem or identify resolution to appropriate vendor or manufacturer.

⏵ Proficient with Polycom phone systems

⏵ Troubleshoot AV/V problems last minute in non-important situations.

⏵ Assist with company meetings/functions that require use of AV infrastructure (audio, video conferencing, webcasting, visual display or projection, and control system (Crestron) operations.

⏵ Work with client Customer Help Desk ticketing system to respond to end user requests

⏵ Organize our IT and AV equipment inventory

⏵ Review work assignments,  address issues which arise, manage resources schedules, leave and coverage, and all other personnel issues, and seek clarification from our point of contact.

⏵ Manage daily AV and VC incident response

⏵ Coordinate with client staff to determine AV basic infrastructure requirements for any new conference room or media design.

⏵ Experience working with Senior Executive Staff.

⏵ Ensure daily & monthly maintenance of hardware and software are performed.

⏵ Provide excellent service and exceed the expectations and needs of our customers.

⏵ Document and maintain an outstanding AV & conference room environment

⏵ Work with LS&Co. Service Delivery Manager to develop strategies to help the team.

⏵ Set and attend the weekly meeting with Manager and team to give status updates on open cases, audits and address any Service issues.

Technical & Professional Ability

⏵ Understand the technical aspects of the job and shows advanced operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.

⏵ Anticipate equipment challenges and changes and complete the tasks in a professional manner.

⏵ Have experience with troubleshooting videoconferencing, audio conferencing, and integrated A/V technologies in a large enterprise.

⏵ Have experience with Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, and corresponding hardware and software infrastructure.

⏵ Expert with Skype for Business and Teams.,

⏵ Knowledge of desktop and Mac as it relates to AV VC technologies.

Special Qualifications:

⏵ 8+ years experience managing AV VC environments.

⏵ Have a  mindset that can help gather data and build reports about the overall trajectory of the AV/UC environment

⏵ Can work with Senior Executive Staff.

⏵ Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction.

⏵ Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under immense pressure. The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination.
