The Retail Business Lead for our Global ERP Transformation provides strategic leadership for the business components of the program for the retail process area. You will identify the impacts and requirements for the global retail business processes and the application. You have ownership of the project deliverables for the retail business process areas and ensure that the solution will fulfil the needs of the retail process and LS&Co retail business. You make internal staffing decisions and manage the daily work of the team, ensuring that quality deliverables are completed on time. You report to the Program Lead and work in close partnership with project leadership.
About the Job! Develop relationships with essential business owners and senior management in Retail Planning, Retail Merchandising and Store Operations. Stay informed on projects that might have impacts or considerations to Global ERP Transformation
! Work with essential team members and IT to document current processes and develop clear, comprehensive requirements, identifying where the business process might vary by region or channel (O&O, Franchisees, Commissionaires)
! Present to senior management the information necessary to make informed approval and tradeoff decisions.
! Manage risks and identify workarounds and processes to prevent disruptions
! Translate how planning and promotional strategies can be performed in SAP
! Explain to the project team on what data and analytics are required to make in-season promotion, markdown, chase and cancel decisions and ensure they are included in the design for SAP, PMR (promotion module), CAR or BW reports
! Ensure that all relevant retail partners and team members are informed of SAP functionalities from design through launch
About You! Expertise in the following: retail merchandise planning, retail analytics, retail master data management
! Preferred additional experience in store operations and retail sales audit
! Experience leading a team
! Experience facilitating a diverse group of team members making essential decisions
! Specialized knowledge of retail processes and the ability to take a global perspective
! Understand the broad business and global effects of strategic program decisions
! Work both in a management capacity, and in a detailed, hands-on system capacity
! The vision and desire to lead a complex, diverse, cross-regional program
! System configuration experience is a plus
