We are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to join our team based in our European Headquarter in Brussels. You'll act as a shared service function for the Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management and Operations Leadership teams to convert advanced data sets into insights for better decision making. You will provide data visibility, availability, and standardization to diverse teams within the region, define the data analytics vision and implement advanced analytics for the department.

You will report to the Director of Planning Operations.

Responsibilities:
! Be a center of excellence for analytics and participate in training and developing colleagues within the department
! Provide consultation on the interpretation of data and analytics to business partners throughout the organization.
! Lead the implementation of advanced analytics models into the department.
! Build the vision, provide leadership direction to Reporting & Data Analysts while also designing dashboards, building data pipelines and insights
! Continue the current transformation and lead efforts within the region to improve and standardize reporting and analytics
! Partner with Data Science organization to agree on data needs and ways of working and execute on the Implementation of Data Science within the function
! Partner with Merchandising, Merchandise Planning & Inventory Management (MPIM) and operations leaders to understand reporting & metric needs
! Partner with Global data analytics to determine LSE priorities and get support for automated reports
! Lead reporting & data for diverse teams across pre-season and in-season
! Challenge MPIM leads and planners and guide them to better decision making so that key MPIM metrics are optimized; identifying opportunities to act on and risks to tackle and avoid
! Planning analytics publication and adoptions across MPIM department (e.g. service level/fill rate performance analysis, Sell-out performance tracking, etc.)
! Present conclusions and recommendations to Leadership with an unambiguous call to action.

Requirements:
! Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, Econometrics or a similar discipline
! 5 - 7 years’ experience in analytics and data science or insights roles, in the planning environment preferred, including 2 at supervisory level (e.g. team leader)
! Excellent analytical skills & attention to detail to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
! Proficiency in retail KPI’s
! Clear understanding of financial measurements and how to affect them
! Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis
! Hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, building predictive models, and visualizing results
! Highly proficient with ETL tools (Dataiku, Alteryx or other) Excel and the rest of the MS Office suite
! Good knowledge of at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Looker, or other)
! Ability to code in SQL and R/python
! Experience working in AWS and GCP
! Experience with online tracking and reporting tools
! Fluent English, written and spoken
! Motivate and develop a team of analysts

Travel: 10% (market visit, internal meetings)
