This summer you could have the opportunity to work for one of Levi Strauss & Co.’s iconic brands!  Our SanFrancisco-based Summer Internship opportunities, among the Levi’s®,  Dockers®, Signature® and Denizen®brands, give students real world work experience and exposure to one of the world’s leading apparel companies. Our 10 week Summer Internship Program is the perfect way to gain work experience within the core of theorganization, while learning what a career at LS&Co. might have in store for you.

In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, all interns will participate in an intern group project dedicated to a criticalbusiness initiative as well as be exposed to all areas of our business and our brands. Leadership seminars andcareer exploration series connect our interns to our leaders and educate around different career paths. Internperformance will be assessed using our internal review process.

HR, Total Rewards Internship

Primary responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

·       Work with the Total Rewards team on understanding the Retail job architecture and associated compensation and benefits

·       Support the market data analysis of jobs and related benchmarking

·       Study market practices that have are making an impact in the retail space

·       Support creation of data reports to connect business performance data with the labor dynamics 

·       Assist with project management including tracking and reporting on progress, interacting with various project team members and leaders, meeting scheduling, and developing presentations

Requirements for the Internship:

·       Specific college coursework in an area relevant to the internship, or participation in a specific career development program

o   Preferred majors in HR or quantitative methods (mathematics, statistics, economics) 

·       Must be in junior year (rising senior at time of internship)

·       GPA of 3.0 or above

·       Intellectual curiosity with the proven ability to learn new information quickly 

·       Computer literacy including proficiency with MS Office applications

·       Excellent organization, verbal & written communication skills

·       Ability to work well with diverse co-workers

·       Ability to proactively seek out new learning opportunities

·       Ability to present strong, fact-based points of view

·       Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities

·       High degree of flexibility and initiative with limited direction

·       Flexibility to perform a variety of different types & levels of work

Additional Qualifications:

·       Strong analytical skills, including fluency with Excel to compile and present statistical data and resulting analysis
