The MBA Intern on the Levi Strauss Americas Digital Marketplaces is a key member of the Marketplaces team which supports the execution, operationalization, & expansion of Digital Marketplaces & New Commerce Models across brands & functions within the Americas region (key focus on U.S.) This person  will collaborate with Head of Digital Marketplaces & New Commerce to execute & operationalize the strategic business plan across the Marketplace business & own meaningful projects from strategy to implementation. This highly visible position will enable a deep understanding of an emerging commerce model, understanding of strategy & apparel retail as well as LS&Co. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting into the Head of Digital Marketplaces & New Commerce, the scope of the role will provide a rich path to tremendous growth & development opportunities including but not limited to:
! Support Head of Digital Marketplaces & New Commerce business unit to identify, analyze & accelerate expansion strategies & new commerce model opportunities
! Lead on key initiatives to assess new commerce opportunities – identifying & creating a framework for entry, launch strategy & operational KPIs
! Foster strategic partnerships with business development / partnership teams with emerging business units & enable Levi’s to participate in beta shopping opportunities
! Support on contractual / business terms
! Facilitate clear external communication with strategic commercial partners in addition to technical & operational partners required to operationalize & run marketplace businesses
! Driving analytics, managing projects & delivering & supporting executive communication / presentations
! Support Head of Digital Marketplaces to develop insights & strategic perspective on new opportunities & provide understanding & communicating insights on the impact of the competitive industry movements on our business
! Collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, Technical & Operations teams to execute against key initiatives

Job Requirements:
! Currently in an accredited MBA program with an anticipated graduation date of 2021
! Minimum of 6-8 years of total work experience with preferred 2-3 years of pre-MBA experience in strategy or consulting, product management with a passion for apparel & consumer categories 
! Demonstrated capability to build trust, exercise judgment and communicate on behalf of executive leadership
! Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influence skill
! Ability to create strong working partnerships across all levels and disciplines in the company, driving progress through influence; ability to interact independently with senior leaders
! High level of executive presence, business judgment, and maturity
! Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within and the organization including executive leaders
! Very strong problem solving skills
! Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills; ability to find structure, logic, and insight in complex business problems to provide meaningful conclusions
! Ability to structure documents and quantitative analyses to effectively communicate with senior management
! Strong project management capabilities with ability to thrive in a project-based, collaborative team environment
