We're looking for a Manager, Product Development & Sourcing Operations to support functions in the Global Product organization with project management and process engineering capabilities to improve overall efficiencies and realization of goals and strategies. You will report to our Director and be based in our headquarters at Levi's Plaza in San Francisco.
About the Job! You will be a strategic partner and provide operations support to product functions – building processes, tool development and roll-out
! Identify best practices and areas for improvement within customer functions
! Produce and manage ongoing seasonal Global Supply Chain GTM calendars
! Partner with other teams (Merchandising, Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Planning) in managing competing priorities and calendar overlaps
! Lead and manage business project teams assembled to analyze, design or implement business process changes and system/tool capabilities; responsible for developing the project plan; provide regular project updates to project team
! Organize work sessions to gather business input, identify and address issues, and drive to a resolution
! Lead process design workshops; accountable for all deliverables (process charts, RACI’s training materials, etc.)
! Work with the IT team to develop business functional requirements for new systems solutions or enhancements, and coordinates testing and user acceptance
! Help resolve business process issues; evaluate potential solutions with key stakeholders
! Communicate change plans to cross-functional teams to gain buy-in; conduct sessions to train teams on changes or new tools to ensure successful adoption
! Provide analytical support for regular metrics reporting and one-off analysis as requested
About You! Bachelor's degree preferred
! 5+ years’ experience in an operations or process design role, apparel industry preferred
! Experience managing direct reports and leading small project teams
! Product management experience in software development for people who create things is a plus
! Well-grounded in the product development discipline and how it works with merchandising and design
! You understand the Go-to-Market cycle, business processes and general financial acumen
! Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office tools
! Solid process mapping and documentation skills
