We're looking for an Assistant Designer to focus on Men’s Collections focusing on Levi’s® Made & Crafted and Levi’s® Strong Platforms. You'll help design creative, commercially-viable products that support and deepen the value and identity of these brands. You will report to our Design Director and be based in our San Francisco headquarters at Levi's Plaza.
About the Job! Provide both creative and practical support to designers. PLM, Sketching, Tech Packing
! Research current trends, craft new product ideas, attending fittings, and preparing seasonal mood, trend and color boards.
! Creation and execution of PLM BOM data integrity: protos, commercial samples and production
! Work with GTM timelines, processes and deliverables
! Contribute in the design and development of product with a sustainable mindset and +Net Positive without compromising aesthetics
! Research and monitor the consumer and marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition
About You! Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
! 2+ years of design experience, experience working with denim a plus
! Creative Suite knowledge,Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Reader, PowerPoint, PLM
! Solid understanding of design process for multiple product categories
! Solid flat sketching skills, good design and color sense
! Solid understanding of product construction (e.g., finishes, fabrics, hardware, stitches, safety requirements, etc.)
! Must work well independently and as part of a team
! Must be flexible and willing to commit to the time required to finish a quality finished product.
