We are looking for a Product Developer who will bring leadership, clarity, organization and personality to our Sundries team. It is necessary that you have the energy and desire to aid in the execution of all activities that are necessary to produce manufacture ready sundries for our products. You will report to our Senior Manager of Raw Materials and be based in our headquarters in San Francisco.
About the Job! Collaborate with Design teams to review requirements for seasonal trim needs for Levi’s®, Dockers®, Signature by Levi Strauss & CO.™ and Denizen® brands
! Work with LS&Co. nominated suppliers to develop required sundry items to ensure aesthetic, technical and quality requirements are met
! Coordinate sundries lab and wash testing to ensure compliance with physical performance standards and RSL requirements
! Negotiate prices and manage costing details in alignment with brand targets
! Manage and complete sundries development to meet seasonal Go To Market calendar deadlines for samples and bulk production
! Develop strong relationships with sundry suppliers and internal partners
! Review and approve dual sourced sundry developments from secondary nominated LS&Co. suppliers to increase flexibility and optimize cost in support of growing business and global sourcing strategies
! Maintain sundries records in PLM; generating material codes, input and updating of material attribute data, images, pricing, lead times and supplier info
About You! Bachelor's degree and 4+ years related work experience
! Solid understanding of apparel construction, trims and manufacturing methods
! Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
! You're able to juggle different tasks and you have the desire to work in a very fast paced environment
! Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; especially when it comes to working directly with senior level directors
! You are energetic, positive, helpful and have a passion and interest in LS&Co.
