We are looking for an experienced Sr Manger IT - Retail Solutions who loves retail and has a passion for delivering high quality software that matches the expectation of our business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
! Own a portfolio of retail products and create, manage and deliver against respective backlogs.
! Manage of team of project managers and business analysts who work with business users, product management and IT for collaboration on projects, reporting requirements, application improvements and support.
! Establish a regular cadence of 1-on-1’s with DTC product management and your counterpart in North America in order to optimize the delivery of retail projects.
! Supervision/coaching of project managers and business analysts who interface with the business units, product management and IT on both global and local solutions.
! Supervision/coaching of developers who are working on both global and local solutions.
! Ensure solutions are ready for on-going operations and support.
! Develop expertise in the various retail solutions so that the regional team can collaborate with retail business stakeholders and make strategic recommendations to fulfill strategic global and local initiatives.
! Educating key business stakeholders of upcoming initiatives and be able to articulate the 6-12-18 month roadmap for the group. Must be comfortable in presenting to sr. level leaders.
! Collaborate with retail business stakeholders on strategic initiatives to help establish the IT delivery plan across all portfolio or products in market.
! Coordination with retail business stakeholders and IT support to effectively support retail business functions.
! Improve the business requirements development lifecycle along with an appropriate measurement framework to measure quality.
! Create and manage a pipeline for resourcing project managers and business analysts on a number of retail IT initiatives.
! Collaborate with our IT support & development teams to create a backlog of items that are sequenced against a development roadmap.
! Collaborate with the DTC Program Management team to roadmap capabilities that are to be delivered.
! Provide budget estimates for business analyst needs across the retail IT portfolio.
Skills & Qualifications:
! MBA preferred
! 7+ years technology experience
! 7+ years of professional experience in retail applications. Must understand the end-to-end flow of product and key functions for inventory and sales audit.
! 3+ years of testing experience
! Experience in delivering retail capabilities including: Point of Sale, Omnichannel solutions and applications, RFID
! Experience in delivering retail process improvements.
! Comfort working in an agile and waterfall environments.
! Exposure to bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
! Experience working in matrixed organizations and with remote teams
