Levi Strauss Europe (LSE) is looking for an Inventory Planner, based in our European Headquarters in Diegem, Belgium. You'll report to the Senior Planner and use your analytical skills to drive and maintain consistent and profitable inventory strategies for a part of product categories. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to the Regional Merchandise and Regional Planners to support end-to-end strategy execution for core styles. You'll negotiate on product deliveries with cross functional partners and cross regional partners.
About the role:
! Translate demand forecast into production requests
! Advise on size split for PO issuance
! Partner with Supply Planning and Service desk to influence optimal replenishment of core styles
! Monitor inventory health by DC and SKU and manage supply-base replenishment execution to ensure on-time supply fulfillment and address supply gaps
! Analyze ongoing gaps in supply to achieve target Service Level, perform root cause analysis and create improvements
! Monitor inventory turns with goal of achieving targeted levels. Identify opportunities to reduce excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory while maintaining a healthy inventory level able to cope with sudden demand variations.
! Provide context on the inventory KPIs (position/coverage/ship risk)
! Partner with Global Supply Management on agility programs; cut lead times, eliminate potential constraints, staging capacity, fabric, finished goods and size ratios. Define the regional needs and build/monitor/analyze each step of the programs
! Review on regular basis based on forecast trends to remain within Inventory target parameters and OTB (open to buy) targets
! Conduct the maintenance of lot list (seasonality, dmd attribute) and check on forecast transmission.
! Find the financial balance between inventory levels and service levels.
About you:
! Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Finance, Operations, Retail Management or Business Management or equivalent work experience
! 1 + year experience in inventory management, retail merchandise planning, demand forecasting, allocation or replenishment
! First SAP APO/ERP system experience
! Fluent in English (both oral and written)
! Ability to build analysis of high volumes of data in excel (using pivot tables/ formulas)
! Experience in project management is an asset.
! Enjoy taking initiative to learn and drive the business.
! Interested to build effective relationships with a broad, diverse group of partners, mainly in cross-functional areas
