In this role as the Benefit Program Manager, you're responsible for planning, implementing and managing designated benefit and wellness programs, plans, policies, processes, legal guidelines and best practices.  The Benefit Program Manager ensures that our benefits and wellness programs are competitive and help the organization's ability to recruit and retain talent. In this role, you will report to the Director of Employee Health & Well-being.

Responsibilities:
! Manages the company Global Wellness, Global EAP and Voluntary Benefit Programs including coordinating regular educational/informational events and employee communications
! Oversees quarterly vendor utilization review and provides analysis and manage annual vendor renewal/contracting process
! Manages relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, vendors and subject matter experts ensuring delivery of high-quality programs in accordance with industry best practices and legal compliance
! Current with industry and market trends, benefits and wellness related technology, and healthcare reform initiatives.  Benchmarks and recommends strategies, changes, and enhancements to ensure the company benefits offerings are robust and are competitive.
! Partner with vendors, brokers and internal global HR partners to resolve employee and service issues in a timely and efficient manner
! Regularly reviews and updates benefit & wellness materials for new hire orientation and presents information on benefit & wellness programs
! Participate in the annual open enrollment process

Qualifications:
!
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience

! 7+ years of employee benefit and wellness program experience, with 5 years' managing the function including design, cost analysis, and implementation of tools and programming in a mid-size or larger organization required
! Experience with HRIS Benefits and Employee Self Service (ESS) modules, Workday a bonus
! Vendor RFP, implementation and roll-out experience strongly preferred
! Experience administering benefits for multiple populations including corporate, retail and warehouse/manufacturing environments a plus
! Current with emerging technologies to improve processes and increase efficiency
! In-depth understanding of San Francisco, California, and Federal labor/ERISA laws
! Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate sound discretion
! Excellent analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
! Presentation skills and comfortable speaking before large groups
