We are looking for an Implementation Lead, based in our European headquarter in Diegem, Belgium. You will be responsible for driving successful project execution and time-to-market of a portfolio of Analytics & AI initiatives across the region, such as Store Productivity, Assortment Optimization, Market Sizing, and Pricing. You'll report to the European Lead for Data Analytics & AI.

In this role you will work alongside data scientists and business stakeholders to tackle challenges of strategic importance to the company, maintain smooth and efficient team operations, and drive agile delivery. This role is part scrum master, part product owner, part project manager for a team of six.  It requires a “do-er” mentality and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

⏵ End-to-end project planning: Builds and maintains business-aligned roadmap for projects and backlog, with clear prioritization criteria and ROI sizing

⏵ Value delivery tracking: Develops benefit calculators, tracks uplift and financial and non-financial benefits of Use Cases (aligned with Finance and business), maintains and tracks department KPIs, shares findings with stakeholders.

⏵ Risk and issue management: manages risks, issues, and dependencies in an action log; proactively resolves issues through personal network, stakeholder relationships

⏵ Stakeholder management: Critical link between the data team and other teams in the organization: business, technology, legal/privacy, vendor management, etc.

⏵ Project documentation: maintains up-to-date project documentation, shared globally and conforming to global standards

⏵ Proactive communication: Serves as a project expert, thought leader, and strategic advisor to business stakeholders and data science team; collaborate with all cross-functional team members to accomplish required tasks and provide project updates

⏵ Agile practices:  Leads execution of agile practices: stand-ups, sprint planning and reviews, after action reviews, etc

⏵ Project lifecycle management: moves completed work to automation, leveraging technology resources; pilots to production; in-progress to pilot; backlog to in-progress.

Requirements:

⏵ Proven ability to drive product adoption in complex environments with multiple stakeholders

⏵ Positive communication style and excellent presentation skills, with ability to influence colleagues, cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

⏵ Project management experience; experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and/or project management certification a plus

⏵ Adapts quickly to changing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

⏵ Experience in Retail/Wholesale Operations environment preferred

⏵ Some prior exposure to Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence and Cloud technologies.
