In this role as the Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supply chain related data and will work with the data governor and key SMEs to analyze, setup, implement and enforce data policies that span multiple departments and functions to improve the quality and timeliness of data.  You are also responsible for developing, implementing and supporting planning master data process, managing all planning master data to ensure accurate finished goods inventory planning and global production/capacity/raw material planning as well as driving process improvements across systems. In this role, you will also work with planners and the operations team to build and refine key reporting and support business analytics. You will report to  the Senior Manager, Business Process & Engineering.

Responsibilities:
! Monitor and maintain accurate master data and support inventory planning, global constraint production planning and global raw material planning
! Collaborate with cross functional departments (merchandising team, merchandise planning team, product development team, SSM team, etc) to ensure master data is flowing into system accurately
! Document detailed steps on master data set up & maintenance and drive change management & training to help the supply/demand planning team understand how master data impacts planning
! Drive system improvements and master data best practice to support supply planning and inventory management optimization and serve as liaison between business and IT to understand key issues and resolve paint points within planning
! Provide support on system enhancements and participate in functional testing and data validation
! Work with global and regional partners and cross-functional teams to build supply chain data dictionary, develop standard process procedures and successful flow of data through planning systems based on transacting and reporting requirements
! Anticipate problems, identify root cause and be proactive about preventing issues from occurring
! Create, run and present metrics representing the governance processes
! Drive process improvements for efficient and effective planning in SAP APO or other engines
! Manage weekly and monthly planning reports and ad-hoc analysis to support key business decision making

Qualifications:
! Bachelor’s degree in operations, industrial engineering, mathematics, statistics, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent work experience
! Supply chain related experience, SAP APO planning or other advanced planning/ERP engine experience
! Master data governance experience
! Excel, Access, and advanced planning systems (SAP APO preferred).
! Ability and interest in analyzing data in the context of the supply chain – understand the business behind the numbers
! Manipulation of large amounts of data using various spreadsheets or similar applications
! Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
! Retail or Apparel industry experience preferred
