Levi Strauss Europe (LSE) is looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst based in our European headquarter in Diegem, Belgium.

You will report to the Trade Compliance Regional Manager and will be an integral part of the regional trade compliance team. This team manages trade and customs matters in Europe and Turkey.  You will support customs operations and broker oversight by managing service provider service level agreements and maintaining and updating the necessary procedures.  You will also act as a resource to the business on customs matters including duty rates, free trade agreements, and other customs topics and support audit and monitoring activities by ensuring procedures are being followed and that customs transactions have been filed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:
! Free Trade Agreements: effective management of existing Free Trade Agreement utilization as well as development of controls, communication and monitoring of new FTA programs consistent with the Global Trade Compliance framework
! Monitoring new and existing trade preference programs, research and gather information related to customs and international trade compliance matters
! Preparation and maintenance of documentation requirements and departmental handout materials
! Project supports and assistance with business improvement projects
! Procedural Control:  Responsible for the updating and execution of internal and external procedures and mapping process changes related to trade compliance matters in Europe and Turkey
! Assisting with the collection and review of documentation related to the AEO certifications
! Assistance on localizing Harmonized Schedule classifications for the local destination market as needs require based on seasonal volumes and prepares requests for various rulings as required
! Broker Oversight: Responsible for the creation and maintenance of weekly customs broker reports and the daily operational management
! Data/dashboard Management: maintenance of trade compliance databases in Europe
! Support on internal and external audits by, collection and review of documentation

Requirements:
! Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
! 2-5  years experience in a project management, business process analyst or international trade position
! interest in International Trade topics
! excellent analytical and organizational skills
! Business acumen; ability to connect various data points to develop a full picture
! team player capable of working autonomously
! Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience in modelling tools (Visio) and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
! Good verbal and written skills Dutch or French and English
! Knowledge of international logistics is a plus
! Knowledge of European customs rules including product classification, FTA, AEO is a plus
! Knowledge of Turkish customs rules is a plus
