JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Director of E-commerce Business Insights, you will lead a high performing team and you’ll be responsible for sharing insights that can push the business forward on all fronts. You will drive the business, product and technology insights to inform decision-making across the digital organization (operations, finance, marketing, product, IT, customer support, and leadership).

You should have experience leading highly motivated and successful teams and be able to deal with high levels of ambiguity while still moving forward with delivering results. You should have excellent business acumen and be able to define key business questions and deliver information that answers those questions.

The role requires a leader with meaningful, hands-on e-commerce experience, partnering with product and IT teams to strengthen data enablement as part of an agile team, leading a team taking on weighty problems and encouraging the development of scalable, enterprise reporting that elevates the business and technical understanding of the entire digital team. You can effectively empower others, your curiosity is infectious to others, you talk about driving step changes to deliver business results. You know how to explain the key points of an analysis without diving too deep, and you minimize complexity while staying laser focused on the consumer and how to drive value added insights for the digital organization.

About The Job:
! Actively lead a team to provide insights to help achieve the digital and ecommerce goals for the Americas Region
! Use data to drive continuous improvement and decision making
! Lead and implement the enablement of analytics and insights self-service tools ranging from Tableau dashboards, SiteCatalyst Reports, Tealeaf Insights, and accessible SQL code libraries
! Build reports, manage custom dimensions, segments in Adobe Analytics
! Influence optimization across the digital customer experience journey to deliver on revenue goals
! Work with Product Management, UX & Design to influence new features, functionality and web experiences
! Coach and mentor a team to formulate, design and create analytical projects
! Work collaboratively with data engineering teams to acquire all necessary data to support project needs (data exploration, training data, feature engineering)
! Instrument web and mobile features using Adobe and Segment to optimize conversion and engagement
! Audit the quality and cleanliness of collected data by reviewing website and app code
! Support analysis decisions by taking relevant inputs from business, product and IT teams and defining clear plans for analytics team; pushes analytics teams to confirm assumptions, extract relevant insights and to interpret the models and outputs
! Lead communication of insights generated with digital leadership team
! Continuously learn about the industry trends and keep the key stakeholders educated

About You:
! Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline.
! Experience building and evangelizing dashboards, reports, and other self-service tools through product roadmap implementation.
! Experience using Adobe Analytics, Segment, Tealeaf or other related technologies
! Prior experience leading a Product Management team in the analytics space with cross functional agile development teams
! 5+ years of business intelligence or analytics team management experience, including employee development, performance management, and delivering results.
! Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
! Experience managing large teams and portfolio of accomplishments cultivating new leaders and helping analytics professionals grow and advance in their careers
! Experience using SQL, Python, and big data technologies in a business environment with large datasets.
! Demonstrated ability to develop deep understanding of business drivers and independently, creatively apply analytical capabilities against the highest priorities
! Outstanding presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including results packaging and development of management presentations
! Extensive experience synthesizing and packaging complex analyses and delivering results to non-technical audiences including senior leadership teams
! Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrixed organization, successfully influencing others & developing relationships
! Excellent project management capabilities to develop multiple project streams and complexity; propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented way required
