Purpose:
! Implement and support Wholesale and Vendor trading partners on mission-critical Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and ensure successful flow of these transactions for both Levi Strauss Americas (LSA) and Levi Strauss Europe (LSE).

Key Results:
! To ensure critical data flows in an accurate for purchase orders, shipments, invoices, order response, cancellations, order changes, transportation, routing and price sales catalogs. This often requires system knowledge and root cause analyses.
! Meet individual customer EDI and business requirements through implementation of industry standard ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT transactions.

Additional Scope Information:
! SAP set-up for customers in LSUS and LSE, including SAP interfaces.
! Communicate with Customers at all levels (EDI Technical, Vendor Relations, Buying Office, and Operations) to ensure complete understanding of all business requirements.
! Communication with internal partners (Customer Order Management, Merch, Sales, Customer Master, AR/Finance, SAP OTC and RTC, Customer Service Center IT, Transportation Managers, Customer Relations Managers, EDI Technical Team, Planning and Analytics, and Wholesale IT).
! Price Sales Catalogs maintenance to ensure wholesale customers can retrieve UPC, price and other required product information to order and sell our products.
! Approximately 80 % of units ordered flow through EDI, therefore, continuous monitoring and development are imperative.

Key Responsibilities:
! Identify root cause of both LSE and LSUS daily transmission errors. Resolve shipments, invoices, order responses, cancellations and ILN errors while driving system and business process changes to eliminate those errors.*
! LSE and LSA new customer implementations along with existing customer requirement changes to both EDI transactions and AS2 connectivity. Commonly include requirement gap analysis, testing and continuous contact with customers and third-party providers to negotiate and advise deliverables. Creative problem solving often required to meet customers’ requirements.*
! LSE and LSA IDoc error resolutions.*
! EDI related SAP incident resolutions.*
! LSE and LSA new customer & new store set-up.*
! Maintenance and user requests for Catalogs (GXS, SPS Commerce, 1WorldSync) and Wholesale Vendor Sites (several customers and LeviLink).*
! POS/Velocity research and resolution.
! Manual data pushes, including VMI.
! Train users on business processes (due to turnover/lack of knowledge transfer).
! LSA VMI implementations. (LSE VMI coming in 2017)
! Claims.
! Material Determination clean up.

Education:
! BS or BA required.

Experience:
! Experience with EDI systems, analysis, design, and X12 transactions sets.
! Knowledge of SAP (e.g.: T-Codes, IDocs and Data Flow).
! Customer Service.
! Experience providing direct customer support including root cause analysis, issue tracking, escalation and problem resolution.
! Knowledge towards understanding development tools, code management, testing and performance tuning.

Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
! Knowledge of EDI and associated communication protocols.
! Familiarity with technical testing protocol and processes.
! Knowledge of the processes, practices and terminology of one of the following vertical areas: Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics and Allocation.

Decision-making, Problem-Solving and Analysis:
! Excellent project management skills.
! Troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, and root cause analysis.
! Interpret ESL communication barrier.
! Communicate complex technical information to business users and converting business needs to technical requirements.
! Strong customer-facing skills and demonstrated customer focus.
! Work with several groups.
! Project management.
! Drive issues to resolution.
