LSA DTC Ecommerce Supply Chain Operations Internship

We are looking for the most talented MBA students with a deep interest in the world of retail apparel to join our LSA DTC Ecommerce Supply Chain team for 10 weeks this summer.  We will teach you what you need to know about the world of ecommerce operations – after all, you’ll be working with the most original and definitive denim brand in the world!   Our program will give you a chance to impact our consumers as well as work on a strategic, critical business initiative that is presented to senior leadership.  In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, interns will be exposed to all areas of our business and our brands.  To top it off, you get to spend the summer in San Francisco!

This internship will offer a unique opportunity, providing learning experiences that just might bring your consumer focus skills to the top of the pack.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing individual with a passion for ecommerce operations to join our team this summer. In this role, you will research key industry trends and innovations, providing business recommendations that ensure Levi’s continues to deliver a best-in-class consumer experience. Your goal is to improve our KPIs while reducing our operating costs – are you up for the challenge?

Your primary responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): 
! Analysis, recommendation, and presentation of key ecommerce operations project related to the following:! Recommendation for third distribution location 
! Recommendation to open third location with existing 3PL or new 3PL
! Recommendation for regional carrier associated to third distribution location

! Industry benchmarking of ecommerce supply chain KPIs (processing speeds, transit times, shipping rates, etc.)
! Geo-demand analysis and subsequent inventory allocation recommendation
! Market research of 3PLs and locales to provide a potential third distribution location
! Market research of regional carriers and associated offerings
! Participation in key go-to-market process activities

Requirements for the Internship:
! Bachelor’s Degree
! Currently enrolled in a top-tier MBA program with expected graduation in spring/summer 2021
! Computer literacy including proficiency with MS Office applications

Additional Qualifications:
! Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization
! Data-driven with the analytical abilities to identify opportunities and drive ROI analysis
! Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and drive a high level of focus
! Strong interest in the apparel or technology industry
! Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail orientated and thorough
