We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to the support Senior Director, HRBP by providing valuable HR contribution through efficient talent management, capabilities building, engagement, ER management, and guidance through the whole lifecycle of an employee in Belgium. You'll represent us in the Works Council and the Health & Safety Committee of Brussels HQ, implement agreed on actions and projects with the support of the Internal Prevention Advisor. You'll report directly to the Snr Director, HRBP and will join the HR team working in our Headquarters.

About the Job!
Work with HRBP to implement relevant HR strategies and programs to improve organizational performance, engagement, and efficiency.

Identify opportunities to simplify and harmonize HR processes, work with CoE and HR Administrator to promote improvements, make recommendations, and follow-up through full implementation.

!
Manage delegated projects while exhibiting business expertise and influencing skills.

!
Lead Diversity & Inclusion projects and implement action plans for HQ, following our strategy and values.

!
Be a link between managers and employees by solving work-related issues through coaching, mentoring, support in performance management, developing the employees. Partner with Works Council.

!
Ensure local policies and procedures are up-to-date and following local legislations and Works Council agreements.

!
Manage escalated Employee Relations activities and complex cases including investigations, grievances, dismissals, and corrective actions and advice to leaders and heads of departments in Belgium.

!
Chair monthly Works Council meetings, ensuring all time compliance with our employer's obligations including regular information and consultations, establishing a constructive and trustworthy relationship with employees' representatives

Manage Health & Safety committee together with the Internal Prevention Advisor: follow-up on legal requirements

!
implement Health & Safety plans together with employees' representatives.

!
Design, propose and implement an Employee Wellbeing plan on a yearly basis, work with all relevant partners to make sure it answers employees' needs.

!
Co-organize engagement discussions with leaders and provide support for Action Planning

!
Provide training and workshops on an ad-hoc basis.

!
Deputize for HRBP in meetings.

About You!
You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or Business Administration.

!
You have at least 4+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role with experience managing Employee Relations activities and complex cases. Experience in the Retail Business is an asset.

!
You have an in-depth knowledge of Belgian law and sound experience working with the Works Council.

!
You're fluent across both written and spoken in English and Dutch. French would also be a distinct advantage.

You are well-organized, detail-minded, and accurate.

!
You have communication skills, in negotiation and presentation.

!
Experience building and maintaining productive working relationships.

!
You enjoy working in teams, having a collaborative style.
