The site merchandising function exists to co-ordinate the web strategy for Levi.com for the 46 markets that are covered by this European team, and this role will focus on the Southern European markets. Driving conversion rates and ensuring the sites are trading to meet targets as well as maintaining our strongest brand and product execution are our main objectives. Using web data analytics, site merchandising tools, UX testing and brand and commercial knowledge, we build strategies that connect the customer facing site experience, with our commercial targets. This team is both driving the strategy of the website initiatives and leading the execution in conjunction with multiple stakeholder groups, so being the lead in co-ordination of activities is a prime responsibility. 

As Site Merchandiser you will hold the keys to the site experience matching the information on the product, the commercial understanding of the channel and the web metrics to drive the best execution of the brand. Knowing the merchandising and marketing calendars extremely well and understanding how to communicate these in categories and on site trading through best in class consumer experience, across all device and browser types will be the foundation of this role. 

Drive the Day to Day Trading & Site Experience:
! Driving Core KPIs Drives Conversion Rate, AOV, UPT and RPV as core KPIs to deliver sales, optimising the consumer journey across the Front End of the Site.
! Owns merchandising tools (boosting, hero products), category, navigation and product management strategies to execute this in season trading for your key categories.
! Supports team in product upload process, maintaining accuracy and using this as a chance to influence site merchandising. Owns, maintains and improves the Product Management Information tool.
! Strives for excellence and accuracy across the site through strong organisation and seamless go live processes.
! Contribute to Front End enhancement and bug fixing meetings with suggestions and impact, based on analytics. Lead changes in new development of Back Office Tools that can help the site merchandising experience.
! Work closely with the Consumer Services team to understand the voice of our market in Southern Europe, and following up with contacts in the regions to make site changes based on the feedback (E.g. Translations, product information, local trends).

Lead the Site Activity & Calendar Management:
! Co-Ordinates and Owns the Promotional Calendar. Develops good understanding of best Promo Efficiencies for Levi.com Southern Markets and connects with retail, planning, site operations, merchandising, marketing and finance teams to align on the site activities.
! Manages the Monthly Product Release Calendar in collaboration with the Site Merchandiser for the Northern European Markets. Working with merchandising, planning, allocation and site marketing, ensure these sites have enough stories, products depth and width and meet best in class site experience standards. Use analysis to feed into future MPR stories linking back to commercial strategy.
! Manage launch of Special Collaborations & Collections, in collaboration with Site Merchandiser for the Northern European Markets and the Site Operations team. Lead and contribute to planning meetings, preview sessions and covering all aspects of enrichment and Quality Assurance checks.
! Acts as a key partner between cross functional parties: Be a key point of contact for organisation and trade activities related to the Site experience connecting with Web Ops, Digital Marketing, Operations, Planning/Allocation, Brand Merchandising, Retail B&M and with the Global Team.

Contribute to Analysis & Strategic Initiatives:
! Represents industry trends and promotional activities to the wider team, being a voice for the competition. Conduct and share industry reports and benchmarks using Similar Web, EDITED and Competitor Analysis, leading into the Monthly Product Release Calendar and highlighting opportunities.
! Conduct Web analysis using Web Analytic tool (Adobe Omniture) to contribute to key strategic decision making and on site actions. In collaboration with Data & Analytics partners, create category, funnel, device and country dashboards to better understand and improve site performance. Report out during Monthly Business Review and Trading Meetings, serving up commercial opportunities.
! Conducts Web, Returns and Sales analysis to understand the holistic performance of promotions, looking at revenue, share of overall performance and the net impact of driving conversion, feeding information back to cross-functional partners to drive more efficient promotions.
! Contribute and mould Global Insights sessions to cater for Southern European markets, highlighting areas that need further insights to support new initiatives, opportunities in the funnel.
! Contributes to and leads some cross-functional taskforces focusing on the Country specific Roadmaps and analytics, Returns Reductions and certain ‘Blank Space’ Opportunity categories.
! Uses understanding of Levi.com performance and reports to feed into seasonal product briefing and investment reviews with merchandising and planning teams.

About You:

Education:

University Undergraduate Degree preferred (ideally in the field of analysis, business, research methods, economics, marketing, statistics, etc.). Masters in similar areas preferred.

Experience:

3+ years’ experience in a trading, site merchandising or planning role, budgets, and working with cross-functional stakeholders towards a shared goal. Experience within eCommerce essential.

Technical knowledge:

Essential: Advanced Excel knowledge, Advanced User of Web Analytic Tools (E.g Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture).

Preferred: Competent in Data Visualisation tools (Eg. Tableau, Power BI). Understanding of Back Office Tools / CMS’s (E.g. SAP Hybris, Salesforce, etc).

Other competencies:

Excellent Communication Skills, Strategically minded, Analytical, Works well in a Team and able to bring together lots of stakeholders and co-ordinate projects, Organised and meticulous, Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines and a natural Problem Solver, interest in the eCommerce and fashion industry. Understanding and passion for apparel retail and consumer journey. Experience working in a matrix management environment with multiple stakeholders.
