Responsibilities
Project lead for various aspects of the Companys federal, state, foreign and other tax matters worldwide
Analysis of financial and accounting information to determine appropriate income tax treatment including written documentation of such analysis.
Coordination/review of federal and state income returns prepared by outside accounting firm
Project manage and coordinate/review the quarterly and annual income tax provisions process, which includes the use of Onesource income tax provision software
Maintains current knowledge of relevant tax laws affecting the company
Assists with or coordinates federal or state tax audits, including reviews of auditor document requests
Support international tax compliance and projects as needed
Support Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) integration activities and tax accounting.
Prepares/reviews data and information analysis leading to business decisions or recommendations. May include informal presentations
Significant interaction and collaboration with internal controllers and accountants as well as external service providers.
Requirements:
15+ U.S. income tax experience, an Accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) or multi-national industry experience is a plus
Strong income tax provision skills, including current tax rules and US GAAP
Ability to collaborate, lead and build effective teams cross-functionally
Ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves, manage projects and establish processes
Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting
Master of Science, Taxation degree is desired but not required
Experience and working knowledge of transfer pricing, international taxation, and tax accounting
Working knowledge of Netsuite, Onesource provision and tax return software, BNA analyzer software, and Microsoft Excel and Word
Good written and oral communication skills
