GoPro is seeking a top-tier candidate for the Senior Image Processing Engineer role. This position will be responsible for designing and developing methodologies that are required to analyze, correlate, and improve the image quality of GoPros camera product line. Specifically, the Senior Image Processing Engineers responsibilities include tuning the entire ISP to improve image quality, performing root cause analysis of image artifacts mitigating poor image quality performance that might be introduced by all possible components. The candidate is expected to be able to independently analyze and resolve issues.

Responsibilities
Optimize pipeline parameters to strive for excellent image quality
Develop software tools needed for the optimization process
Interface with various internal teams and ISP vendors throughout the product development cycle to resolve any possible technical issues
Some travel will be required

Skills Were Stoked About
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Image Processing, Color Science, or related fields.
5+ years of industry experience in ISP algorithm development, or ISP tuning.
Hands-on experience working with CMOS image sensor
Hands-on experience working with 3A control
Knowledge in digital design
Proficiency in Matlab, C, Python
Experience in objective and subjective image quality assessment
Ability to independently analyze and resolve issues
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work with multi-cultural teams
