As the Benefits and Wellness Program Manager, you will influence the strategy and philosophy that will impact GoPros most important asset -- our people. Your role will help design and directly shape our competitive wellness and benefit programs.
Manage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and vendors ensuring high service levels are met.
Oversee and manage core health benefits, leave of absence, workers compensation, and 401K program.
Creation and monitoring of innovative wellness programs intended to improve the physical and mental health of employees using preventive means aligned with GoPro culture and with measurable results.
Responsible for day-to-day benefits administration and expedient resolution of employee benefit questions or issues. Functions as a liaison between vendors and employees.
Work with HRIS Manager, carriers and consultants on benefit integrations and weekly file feeds. Document use cases and issues and provide analysis and testing for system changes. Ensure all carrier interfaces are functioning as designed and modifications are made as appropriate.
Generate and compile statistical reports and trend plan information; analyze data and provide recommendations.
Partner with Workplace Services and Legal teams on health and safety programs. Maintain the Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP), OSHA records, and safety policies.
Partner with professional benefits organizations and networking groups to understand trends in our industry and recommend program improvements as needed to maintain competitiveness.
Own the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes including plan design analysis, modeling, development and delivery of the open enrollment communication and training materials.
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Skills Were Stoked About
5-7 years previous benefits and/or wellness experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to make updates and changes to procedures and documentation as needed
Knowledge of HR practices and principles, with focus on US and Global benefits, reporting and analytics
Essential technical skills: HRIS (preferably Workday), Excel, Word, Sharepoint or wiki experience
Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
Maniacal attention to detail and proven ability to create simple, sustainable and organized processes
Outstanding follow through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Strong time management skills and ability to make judgment calls
Work well in a highly collaborative environment and open to give and receive feedback
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
