GoPros Global Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the role of S&OP Manager in San Mateo, California. Our goal is to be a best in class supplier globally to our retail and distributor partners and this role will have a big part in making that happen. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced S&OP Manager who will own the S&OP forecast and planning process worldwide. Working with the regional teams the S&OP Manager will finalize the regional plans and attend the regional S&OP meetings. Provide thorough and thoughtful feedback to the regional teams using the latest sell thru trends and estimates. The S&OP Manager will also be responsible for the S&OP SLT meeting with the executive team including data validation, analysis, deck building, and presentation. This position will work cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, channel and product teams. We are growing quickly and our business moves fast, so we need someone who is comfortable with that pace. This position reports to the Director of Global Sales Operations.
Lead/facilitate the Global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with the regional teams.
Collaborate with responsibleteams and disseminate info regarding promos, bundles and HQ driven info to facilitate alignment.
Prepare the global executive S&OP deck and the consolidation of global demand plan (and relevant scenarios) to supply chain and commercial partners.
Track demand plan (S&OP forecast) vs actuals.
Support Compliance Dept as needed to adhere to SOX guidelines.
Own demand plan; consolidation, analysis and pass off.
Own channel inventory file; consolidation, analysis and pass off.
Hold regional teams accountable to timely meetings and AIs.
Work on alignment of regional meetings; tools, summaries, reviews and notes.
Lead the department business plan and demand/inventory inputs for operations business plan and business plan update.
Attain and drive improvements to Key Performance Indicators, including forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias), inventory (gross/net dollars).
Create and utilize in-depth analytical tools to support issue resolution, decision making, and execution oversight.
Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Sales, Channel and NPI.
Prepare related presentations for senior management with minimal coaching as required.
Provide thoughtful leadership and direction to peers through training and coaching.
Provide leadership outside of Sales Operations to help drive positive results for the S&OP process and organization.
Skills We're Stoked About
Bachelors degree (MBA/Masters a plus)
3-5 years of experience in S&OP management
3-5 years of experience in data analytics, demand planning (CE experience preferred)
Strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets and data analysis including financial scenario analysis must have amazing excel skills! (vlookups, if statements, macros)
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Must be open to change!
