In this role, the Director of Workplace Services will lead our Workplace Services (WPS) Operations team in San Mateo andCarlsbad whichsupports over 800 GoPro employees in 400,000 square feet.The Director will also collaborate with the WPS Global Operations team in EMEA and APAC to align the teams goals and operations. In WPS, we are energetically focused on the employee experience and manifesting the GoPro brand.The Director will be expected to focus onbuilding a strategy for the future while maintaining the everyday foundation of WPS operations.We believe the success of this individual lies in the ability to get the big pictureand proactively works towardsmeaningfulsolutions.
Responsibilities
Directa team of workplace service professionals consisting of facility engineers, security operations team, office managers, warehouse personnel, shipping/receiving coordinators, and receptionists
Manageto a multi-million dollarbudget by workingcloselywith ourdedicatedFP&Ateam
Partner withlandlordportfolio managers and all key WPS vendors, contractors and suppliers
Develop new programs to enhance the overall employee experience through innovative and creative events, food and beverageprograms, andother amenities to enhance our work environment
Provide management oversight to construction projects and other workplace initiatives
Partner will all levels of the business inmultipledepartments; become an advocate for the WPS brand through collaborating with the People Team, Creative Services, and Network/IT organizations
Travel moderately to GoPro sites as projects and needs require
Skills Were Stoked About
BA/BS or equivalent experience
10+ years ofleadingworkplace/facilitiesteams in large organizations
Professional knowledge of real estate leasing, transactions, and portfolio management
Passionate communicator and creative thinker
Strong skills in developing relationships with all levels of the business
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high volume environment
A positive attitude with a can-do mentality
