GoPro is seeking a top tier Senior Advertising Manager. This global role is a key member of the advertising team, whose main responsibility is to drive awareness, consideration and purchase of the GoPro brand and products across America, EMEA and APAC, through full funnel advertising strategies and activations.
The Sr Advertising Manager will lead GoPros global advertising strategy and partner with key cross-functional teams and 3rd party vendors to execute campaigns that deliver on annual and quarterly goals.The ideal candidate is an individual who possesses an acute business sense, adheres to companys high-level goals and is able to translate them into advertising strategic directions, can demonstrate out-of-the-box thought leadership, takes a data-driven approach to making decisions, takes pride in sharing knowledge, is a great team player and excels at building productive relationships in order to advance company goals first.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic direction on paid performance across digital and offline campaigns globally, covering paid social, display, search, paid video, OOH, OTT, programmatic and retargeting
Lead optimal campaign performance by providing optimization directions
Manage relationship with agency teams, delivering briefs, guidance and budgets to ensure teams are prioritizing and executing on objectives
Build relationships and communicate with regional marketing teams, to ensure alignment on objectives, confirm that plans are locally relevant, and that regions adhere to plans
Partner with key business groups including sales, product marketing, brand strategy, creative, channel marketing, lifestyle marketing and PR to ensure strategic alignment
Partner with the analytics and market insights teams to produce and share executive reports that tell a story and provides learning and insights
Work with the rest of the advertising team to ensure flawless campaign execution
Oversee and manage budgets
Skills Were Stoked About:
Minimum of 10 years experience working for globally relevant lifestyle brands either on the client or agency side
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and territories
Energetic multitasker who is comfortable switching from highly strategic topics to tactical tasks on a daily basis
Analytical, takes a data-driven approach by default
Creative problem-solver and a proven leader, whose diplomatic skills will allow to rally cross-functional teams behind a common solution
Ego-free team player who enjoys bringing other team members along and sharing knowledge
Great written and oral communication skills, with a talent for telling compelling stories and an ability to adapt their message to various internal audiences
Good technical knowledge of online / offline advertising channels and ad operations
Prior experience working with / managing a media agency
Prior experience working on full-funnel plans
