People Operations Manager
The People Operations Manager is responsible for building, maintaining and refining the GoPro policies, programs and infrastructure that support GoPro people and culture.
Operating with the highest integrity and modeling collaboration, discretion, strategic and thoughtful leadership, this individual must be a resource for all employees and a confident subject-matter leader in People Team processes and programs.
Responsibilities
Lead a high-caliber people first focused global team of People Operations Coordinators and Generalists.
Partner with broader People Team in global locations to maintain systems standards, internal and external documentation of People Operations processes, and GoPro brand and culture across locations.
Manage New Hire Orientations internationally and partner with GoPro department leads and presenters to refresh and maintain content.
Champion collaborative cross functional relationships with recruiting, IT, facilities, payroll, and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding of new employees and contingent workers.
Ensure People Operations audit and control processes are developed and followed in compliance with local data privacy laws, US wage and hour laws, SOX, local country regulations and internal HR, Compensation and Benefits policies and procedures.
Analyze problems, determine approach, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports/recommendation to help define People Operations strategy as well as inform Recruiting, People Systems, Business Partners, L&D and People Leadership.
Manage companywide compliance initiatives and trainings. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Skills Were Stoked About
6+ years previous people operations experience in a complex, fast paced environment
Bachelors degree
Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to make updates and changes to procedures and documentation as needed
Knowledge of HR practices and principles, with focus on reporting and analytics
Essential technical skills: HRIS (preferably Workday), Excel, Word, Sharepoint or wiki experience
Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
Maniacal attention to detail and proven ability to create simple, sustainable and organized processes
Outstanding follow through, self directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Strong time management skills and ability to make judgment calls
Work well in a highly collaborative environment and open to give and receive feedback
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
