We are seeking a talented Finance professional to join our Finance Team supporting the Sales and Sales Operations organizations. The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership to ensure accurate financials, manage operating expense budgets and headcount, and lead critical aspects of revenue reporting and forecasting. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who pro-actively supports financial decision making and provides recommendations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide finance support in the company revenue forecast process by analyzing sales channel, customer and product performance to ensure forecasts are realistic, accurate and reliable.
Manage processes related to marketing development funds (MDF) including tracking performance vs. budget/forecast, analyzing ROI of MDF programs and the approval process including obtaining, tracking and documenting all necessary approvals.
Own the monthly and quarterly budget vs. actual variance analyses for revenue, margin, Sales operating expenses and headcount for internal review and external reporting.
Collaborate with Accounting on month-end and quarter-end close including reporting and providing key inputs for the close package ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial results.
Support annual budget process and maintain ongoing rolling forecasts, updating planning system to reflect changes in departmental operating expense and headcount expectations.
Drive ad hoc projects to support business decisions around key Sales initiatives including customer performance trends, and pricing initiatives.
Skills Were Stoked About
Bachelors in Finance or related field; MBA preferred
4-6 years FP&A experience
Superior attention to detail and a commitment to timely but accurate work
Ability to take an ambiguous concept or task and complete in an effective way with minimal direction
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to convey information concisely at an Executive level, written and verbally
Strong Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles
Advanced proficiency with Excel, experience with NetSuite and Host Analytics
