Were seeking a tech savvy, experienced business person to help supercharge GoPros business and corporate development efforts, including partnering with the best companies in the world to enable new opportunities for our business and customers. The successful candidate will have a successful track record in managing cross-functional projects and making business deals in the technology space, will have experience in investment banking or corporate development roles, and be excited to apply these skills to a hybrid corporate/business development role at GoPro. The position is based at GoPro HQ in San Mateo, CA and reports to the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
Engage with partners relevant to current business development priorities and help assess corporate development opportunities
Identify new business cases and/or strategic opportunities to drive revenue and KPIs
Manage all aspects of existing relationships, ensuring partner success, and developing new growth opportunities through both proactive and reactive communication
Drive partnership discussions with partners and GoPro cross-functional teams, from idea to execution
Build and nurture long-term relationships with GoPro strategic partners
Assess business opportunities within inbound partnering requests
Build sophisticated financial models and develop business plans to address complex questions
Represent the GoPro company, brand and products within the industry including at relevant industry events
Skills Were Stoked About
Bachelors degree
2-4 years of experience in investment banking or corporate development
Experience in business development including deal making and agreement negotiation, or in management consulting
Experiences in consumer technology (hardware and/or software)
Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills, but comfortable with ambiguity and adept at solving problems creatively
Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling, business intelligence and opportunity assessment
Ability to juggle multiple threads and conversations while focusing on key priorities
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and teams, including GoPro Product, Marketing, Engineering, Legal and consumer facing groups
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership and executives
Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote
Travel is occasionally necessary

Knowledge of Digital Imaging, digital services and/or application markets
Expert level financial analysis, modeling, and business analysis skills
