GoPro is seeking a highly motivated, top tier candidate to take on the responsibilities of a Sr. Data Scientist supporting our Consumer Research and Analytics Teams. You will be a part of the Analytics & Data Science Team, working cross-functionally with Consumer Research, Marketing, Product and other business stakeholders. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to working collaboratively with both Consumer Research, Analytics and other stakeholders to define and draw insights from research projects and internal data, as well as synthesizing behavioral and qualitative data into cohesive consumer stories and insights.
Leverage both customer behavioral and research data to tell complete customer stories and discover deep customer and product insights
Collaborate cross-functionally with consumer research, UX research, analyitcs, product, design, and other key stakeholders
Explore opportunities for combining internal and external data sources into one 360 view of the customer
Conduct ad hoc project analysis for marketing, design, product, and other key stakeholders
Execute qualitative and quantitative consumer research projects from start to fisnish, including: Research design, survey & discussion guide development, survey result and internal data analysis, reporting and presenting to internal partners
Skills We're Stoked About:
Graduate degree in business, analytics, statistics, engineering, economics, or data science
4+ years of research, analytics and/or data science experience
Experience using Python, R, SAS, SPSS or other statistical tools
SQL skills required for accessing data from our big data databases
Strong Excel and/or Tableau skills
Analytical thinker with a strong passion for data, visualizations, analysis, trends, and evangelizing data usage across various teams
Ability to work both independently and as a key influential member of multiple teams
