We are looking for an Associate Compliance and Quality Specialist to define and drive the end to end initiatives across GoPros ecosystems: from our cameras, software, and cloud. Based on market understanding and customer driven data, you will craft a vision for features and initiatives that span across on-camera features, to our app platforms/releases, and into cloud/services. You own key initiatives such as wireless connectivity and content offload, defining your own feature/initiative roadmap that spans out independently of cameras. You will partner with individual camera and app product owners to ensure your vision permeates across our product lines

Responsibilities

Track and research applicable requirements related to worldwide regulatory certification labeling. Ensure GoPros entire product lineup of cameras, mounts and accessories remain compliant with current regulations.
Provide cross-functional, cross-program guidance to ensure commonality and consistency between all programs markings, documentation, and packaging.
Act as a liaison between expert regulatory engineers, in-house legal counsel, documentation specialists and industrial designers for designing regulatory labels.
Address all distributor registration requests for cameras/batteries and requests for compliance documentation from foreign governments customs agents.
Drive sustaining engineering activities related to compliance markings issues.
Review customer returns and contact data to create field failure summaries and lessons learned.

Skills Were Stoked About
Ability to work independently; self-motivated with ability to drive projects, highly detail oriented.
Minimum of 1 year of global regulatory compliance experience, ideally in consumer electronics.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance demonstration methods.
Must be able to write and edit technical documents clearly and concisely in English
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills
