GoPros Global Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the role of Sales Operations Planning Lead in San Mateo, California. Our goal is to be a best in class supplier to our retailer and distributor partners in the Americas and this role will have a big impact in making that a reality. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced Account Planning Lead who will create and maintain relationships with our partners. This position will be responsible for the short-term forecasts of the 3 Americas Regions, helping manage day-to-day operations of the Account Planning team, providing accurate reporting/analysis and continuing to develop a rock star team. We are growing quickly and our business moves fast, so we need someone who is comfortable with that pace. This position reports into the Senior Sales Operations Manager - Americas.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and create relationships with internal and external customers
Ensure regular and effective communication within the company and partners
Lead a team of 3 account planners
Help manage day-to-day Account Planning activity
Rollup and build out weekly/monthly reporting as required
Own account short term forecasting (CPFR) for the Americas customers
Work with sales to validate sales forecasts and promotion plans
Manage account WOS and team WOS
Focus on KPI improvement and analysis
Improve forecast accuracy within the short-term planning window of 0-13 weeks
Work closely with finance and order management partners on order to cash cycle
Manage to customer service level metrics. Identify initiatives to improve these metrics
Report monthly & quarterly revenue and potential risks to corporate office weekly
Skills We're Stoked About:
3-5 years of experience in the areas of forecasting and/or demand planning
1-3 years of management experience
1-2 years CPFR experience
Previous experience in FMCG
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Strong analytical skills, including financial scenario analysis must have proficient excel skills
Acute attention to detail and an ability to thrive on analytical/detailed analysis
Ability to work in a team setting, build relationships cross-functionally and be a contributing and interactive member of the organization
Collaborative and flexible work style, a non 9-5 mentality
Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology
Excellent communication skills, including strong written and presentation skills
Understanding of SOX guidelines
Working knowledge with NetSuite a plus
