GoPros Global Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the role of Sales Operations Demand Planner in San Mateo, California. Our goal is to be a best in class supplier globally to our retail and distributor partners and this role will have a big part in making that happen. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced Demand Planner who will create our long-term accessory demand plan and work with the regions to maintain and build our global files. Working with our global teams you will lead regional S&OP meetings, consolidate regional data, provide feedback and analysis on sell thru trends and the global S&OP plan. This position will work cross functionally with operations, finance, sales, channel and product teams.
Develop data-driven, high quality analysis of demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for 12-18 month time horizon for areas of responsibility
Be the demand planner for the long-term regional camera business and worldwide GoPro accessory business
Be the expert of your realm of responsibility- review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop statistical analysis of market trends, price elasticity, promo-related analysis
Have ownership of the forecast data, report generation and management. Be proactive in identifying gaps in monthly and quarterly forecast, especially as it relates to sell thru trends, channel inventory.
Demonstrate a collaborative approach while working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in supply and demand assumptions. Provide crucial insights into the area of business and induct into forecast models (eg market performance and recent sales trends).
Work with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Order management team to track orders to commit and demand supply/commit matching
Use and maintain forecast templates as the primary forecasting system tool. Test different methodologies as best fit.
Contribute in managing product lifecycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product transitions.
Contribute toEOL strategies, such as markdown strategies and/or product position strategies based on E&O
Help prepare reports and presentations for multiple teams, including c-level staff
Be a driver of continuous improvementopportunities in processes and business results
Work with S&OP Manager to consolidate regional plans, perform initial analysis and validate regional assumptions and data accuracy
Skills Were Stoked About:
Bachelors degree (MBA a plus)
3-5 years of experience in data analytics, demand planning (CE experience preferred)
Strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets and data analysis including financial scenario analysis must have amazing excel skills! (vlookups, if statements, macros, dashboards)
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Must be open to change!

Working knowledge with prior demand planning software a plus
