About the Position
GoPro is looking for a Senior Vice President of Digital responsible for all of GoPros digital acquisition and retention strategy. This leader will bring critical and creative thinking to advance GoPros multi-million dollar e-commerce and subscription business to the next level. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will join our senior leadership team to help maximize our direct-to-consumer business and will be the operational owner for Digital responsible for forecasting and delivering on volume and revenue targets by optimizing and engaging our world-wide customers.
Build a distinctive, authentic and experiential GoPro digital business for consumers, influencers, and partners
Play a key role in scaling adoption of the current product and also building the GoPros Plus platform beyond, with the introduction of additional subscription offerings
Grow online commercial results with respect to top and bottom lines, ensuring e-commerce is a strong driver of the overall companyrevenue projections
Oversee all e-commerce and Subscription Products P&L
Develop comprehensive digital web strategy to expand customer acquisition channels by maximizing traffic, conversion, and retention
Contribute analytical rigor, with managing CAC, pricing scenarios, A/B testing, etc
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing in the design and development of E-Commerce and Marketing programs
Evaluate data and feedback from customer insights team to further iterate and evolve our subscription and digital product offerings
Provide leadership to the team, building capabilities and supporting them in their development while nurturing a collaborative and dynamic culture
Partner with key stakeholders across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Legal, Engineering, and Product
Skills Were Stoked About:
10 -15 years of experience managing all aspects of Digital / E-Commerce; including consumer goods, digital marketing, web marketing, and demand generation. Product management experience a plus
5+ years of experience in a leadership role
Proven track record in growing a successful, sizeable e-commerce business with experience in both strategy development and operational execution
Experience with Pricing optimization (i.e. with subscriptions, bundling, monthly installments, etc.) required
Commercializing a high consideration product or service; commercializing a premium product or service a plus
Demonstrated P&L accountability
Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred
Demonstrated experience growing a subscription-based business
Knowledgeable about technology, web development, enough so you can articulate topics like features and technologies to a non-technical audience
Has strong written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills
Is fanatical about providing excellent customer service and value to the customer
