We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills with experience working on large data sets and analysis. The position is highly visible and requires cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
What You Will Do:
Owns Demand and Supply Matching activities and analysis, including analysis of cycle over cycle demand changes
Responsible for aggregating and validating the global weekly and monthly demand signal from global Demand Planners and sending to Operations for specific product category
Manages the allocation and prioritization of supply to retailer accounts and distributors for specific product category. Proactively work with Account Planners to manage commit plan based on supply situation
Manages the flow of inventory to assure availability at required regions to meet demand requirements
Interacts with Operations to ensure on-time execution of supply plan. Collaborates with Operations to resolve supply issues
Creates and distributes weekly supply, demand and ad hoc reports for business
Assists in managing the in-quarter revenue reporting with direct input from the global Demand Planning team (demand) and Operations team (supply)
Performs weekly opportunity and risk analysis, providing recommendations for appropriate actions to maximize supply availabilities
Skills We're Stoked About:
Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus) + minimum 2-4 years of experience in demand/supply matching, allocation and inventory planning (preferably in retail consumer electronics)
Must have amazing excel skills (e.g. sumifs, nested if statements, macros a plus)
End-to-end supply chain knowledge
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity, and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Proficient at building cross functional relationships
Must be collaborative and flexible, open to change in processes where required
Accountable, with excellent communication skills, including strong written and presentation skills
Working knowledge with NetSuite a plus
