GoPros North America Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the role of Customer Operations Specialist in San Mateo, California. Our goal is to be a best in class supplier to our North American retailer and distributor partners and this role will have a big part in making that happen. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced individual who will create and maintain relationships with our partners supply chain/forecasting team members, as well as ensuring the fulfillment of customer POs. This position will be responsible for short term forecasting with customers, supply/demand matching, fulfillment of customer POs and working cross functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Accounting and Logistics counterparts to ensure optimal customer service levels. We are growing quickly and our business moves fast, so we need someone who is comfortable with that pace.
Own account short term forecasting (CPFR) for North American customers
Drive weekly order-to-commit process and pull internal shortage reports and match against customer orders
Work with historical and current data to validate sales forecasts and promotion plans
Manage account WOS, while focusing on forecast accuracy within the short-term planning window of 0-13 weeks
Work with commit planning team to determine optimal supply-demand match plan
Work closely with finance and order management partners on order to cash cycle
Manage to customer service level metrics. Identify initiatives to improve these metrics
Report quarterly revenue and potential risks to corporate office weekly
Work to reduce/eliminate any chargeback potential through coordination with internal partners
Account Planning / Order Management experience required
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Strong analytical skills, including financial scenario analysis must have proficient excel skills
Acute attention to detail and an ability to thrive on analytical/detailed analysis
Ability to work in a team setting, build relationships cross-functionally and be a contributing and interactive member of the organization
Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology
Excellent communication skills, including strong written and presentation skills
Order management experience a plus
Working knowledge with NetSuite and/or E2E a plus
