Position
Our Senior Program Manager, Camera will lead the teams developing GoPros next generation of Camera products. This person will interface with every functional group in the development organization to meet cost/schedule commitments, coordinate efforts, identify/mitigate risks, & resolve conflicts/blockers.
What You Will Do
Lead cross functional development teams from early concepts to product launch
Guide product managers & engineers to lock product requirements-- providing schedule, budget, & cost impacts for design decisions
Create & manage detailed hardware development schedules with engineering, quality, & operations teams
Coordinate hardware development with related firmware & software development teams
Manage orderly & efficient handoffs to GoPros operations team for mass production
Lead weekly team & external partner meetings, present regular executive-level updates & reviews
Skills Were Stoked About
10 years experience with consumer product development, including 5+ years managing technical projects/programs
Experience with concept-to-launch product development processes
Experience with Asia contract manufacturing & ability to travel to Asia (4-5 trips per year)
Experience with consumer electronics & enclosures, plastic injection molding, metal die casting, & high-volume manufacturing
Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with an emphasis on efficiency
Undergraduate degree in ME/EE is preferred
