GoPro is seeking a top tier candidate for the Business Operations Planning System Analyst role. This position is a technical role that will require excellent knowledge of business processes and methodologies, along with a strong analytical and data modeling background. You will manage front-end business systems, including but not limited to our sales demand forecasting and financial close systems. You will partner with key stakeholders to ensure data is accurately captured in each system and that these systems are operating optimally. You will lead efforts in coordinating integrations and improving our solutions. This role is managed by the business and is not in IT; however, close collaboration will be required.
Responsibilities
Lead and support development efforts to operationally improve business process through systems
Analyze, design and implement process improvement changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Support and actively participate in a full systems implementation, including the development of BRDs, FRDs, Process Flows, Training, UAT and Change Management.
Balance business user requests with technical constraints
Mentor and train new users on the system functionality
Administer the system users, permissions and assignments
Develop reporting dashboards to support business teams
Design workflows to manage accountability and communication
Proactively maintain and ensure integrity (completeness) of system and sub-system data
Assume lead role in troubleshooting system level problems in production environment
Skills Were Stoked About
5+ years experience in Business Systems Management
1+ years experience in Data Integrations or Data Management
Knowledge of or use of CPFR, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Business Intelligence and Accounting a plus
Must have knowledge in reading and interpreting Customer Forecasts/Sell-thru data
Understanding of sales operation cycles including: customer forecasting, purchase orders, sales orders, allocations, etc
Understanding of accounting close procedures and financial statements
Prior experience with NetSuite or a strong background in other major ERP/MRP programs
Prior experience with Kinaxis, Steelwedge, or other demand/supply planning tools
Strong Project Management and Excel skills
Problem-solving experience
Ability to build team collaboration
Experience and/or understanding of SQL queries and/or advanced reporting tools is a plus
Must possess excellent time management skills and eye for attention to detail
