GoPros Global Pricing team is seeking a highly analytical and motivated candidate for the role of Sr. Global Pricing Analyst in San Mateo, California. The Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst is a key member of the GoPro Sales team in driving the companys strategic initiatives globally. We are looking for a strong analytical candidate that will quickly grasp the go-to-market models across all regions and work closely with the Sales and Finance leaders to make critical pricing strategy decisions. Cross functional management is key as you will be working with global sales, planning, sales strategy, channel marketing, operations, finance and product daily.
Create and enhance retail pricing models for new product launches providing visibility to exchange rate impact and customer and channel profitability
Support the development and expansion of global pricing analytics work with large market pricing data sets, provide insights on trends, and automate reporting to share results with cross functional team and executives
Provide business recommendations based on pricing policy, market activity and global currency movement
Support the execution of key pricing functions including price list publication, ERP and pricing system maintenance
Execute ad-hoc projects in collaboration with the Sales Strategy team and ongoing analysis related to customer profitability, country prioritization, and sales performance
Conduct deep dives on both key mature and growth markets, provide insights to stakeholders and create strategic plans to hit targets in these markets
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, and Finance to support pricing and strategy needs
4+ years of total work experience in sales FP&A, sales operations, data analytics, investment banking, or consulting
2+ years of experience in a pricing or retail sales analytics role preferred
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
Excellent analytical ability, experience with large data sets and attention to detail. Should be comfortable working with large financial models in excel
Strong communication and presentation skills. This role will be required to present to leadership and cross-functional partners frequently
Flexible and comfortable multi-tasking in a fast pace environment
Advanced proficiency with Excel (vlookups, index/match, dashboards)
