GoPros Americas Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the role of Customer Operations Specialist in San Mateo, California. Our goal is to be a best in class supplier to our Americas retailer and distributor partners and this role will have a big part in making that happen. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced individual who will create and maintain relationships with our partners sales/supply chain/forecasting team members, as well as ensuring the planning and fulfillment of customer POs. This position will be responsible for short term forecasting/revenue planning with customers, supply/demand matching, fulfillment of customer POs and working cross functionally with Sales, Channel Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Accounting and Logistics counterparts to ensure optimal customer service levels. We are growing quickly, and our business moves fast, so we need someone who is comfortable with that pace.
Responsibilities:
Own account short term forecasting (CPFR) for North American customers
Understand your accounts revenue targets and track to them, discuss and build gap plans with Sales/Channel
Build revenue opportunities using EOL/Excess units to fill gaps in targets and drive sell thru
Drive weekly order-to-commit process and pull internal shortage reports and match against customer`s orders
Work with historical and current data to validate sales forecasts and promotion plans
Track to weekly sell thru targets for week, month and quarter
Manage account WOS, while focusing on forecast accuracy within the short-term planning window of 0-13 weeks
Work with commit planning team to determine optimal supply-demand match plan
Work closely with finance and order management partners on order to cash cycle
Manage to customer service level metrics. Identify initiatives to improve these metrics
Report quarterly revenue and potential risks to corporate office weekly
Work to reduce/eliminate any chargeback potential through coordination with internal partners
Use experience or education that can bring fresh perspective and ideas to the role
Help drive process/procedural improvements immediately with account/team
Requirements:
BA/BA in Business Management / Supply Chain / Relevant Studies
2+ yrs. of relevant experience and/or Masters/MBA
Account Planning / Order Management experience required
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Strong analytical skills, including financial scenario analysis must have proficient excel skills
Acute attention to detail and an ability to thrive on analytical/detailed analysis
Ability to work in a team setting, build relationships cross-functionally and be a contributing and interactive member of the organization
Collaborative and flexible work style, a non 9-5 mentality
Excellent communication skills, including strong written and presentation skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Working knowledge with NetSuite and/or E2E a plus
