The Role
Were looking for a passionate, well-rounded, kickass Email Developer to work onsite in our San Mateo headquarters! This is a contract assignment to start ASAP.
The Email Developer will work directly with our Creative Web and CRM teams in an agile environment. You will be responsible for developing email, using HTML, CSS, media queries and various ESP tools. The ideal Developer will have team experience and have a minimum of 2-3+ years of email development and/or ESP programming experience.
What You Will Do
Develop HTML emails using HTML, in-line CSS and media queries.
Responsive/adaptive email experience. Portfolio examples required.
Proficiency in implementing email programs within ESP tool limitations.
Comfortably handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions
Communicating potential problems to project teams and recommending solutions.
Coordinate the asset review/feedback process with relevant stakeholders.
Skills Were Stoked About
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Internet Technologies, Computer Science or interdisciplinary
You have2or more years of professional experience hand-coding HTML emails (1+ years must be in a team setting/environment)
Must know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Sketch, InVision, (experience with Figma is a plus!)
You have experience working with email rendering tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid
You have extensive experience in responsive/mobile design for emails
You demonstrate an aptitude in email development
You are an expert in HTML/CSS, and media queries
You have the ability to communicate clearly and display a high level of professionalism, including the ability to work with internal/external staff and business-minded clients
You have the ability to learn new technologies quickly and create improved efficiency
You have the ability to work independently at times on multiple tasks while remaining organized
You have high standards of excellence and the patience to QA every detail
You have solid written and verbal communication skills
Coordinate with campaign managers and design resources to procure creative assets.
Manage production tasks and deliverable milestones in collaborative PM tool (i.e., Wrike)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented
The ability to multi-task
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
