GoPro is seeking a top tier candidate for the Sr. Analyst, Corporate FP&A role. This person will be a key member of the GoPro financial planning & analysis team and has a major role in supporting the companys reporting, planning and analytic efforts. This position will partner closely with key business partners across the organization. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast pace working environment, will be able to work independently, is well versed in excel and powerpoint, and have the ability to spot inconsistencies in data when reviewing deliverables.
What You Will Do
Assume ownership of all consolidated management reporting, including key business metrics, forecast consolidation (P&L and Balance Sheet), headcount analysis, monthly Flash report, quarterly CFO presentation, Board of Directors, Investors Deck, and Quarterly Business Review
Maintain Workiva and drive standardization and automation of internal reporting utilizing existing tools
Monitor the external analysts models of GoPros financial performance, highlighting inconsistencies and/or outliers.
Support GoPros internal control processes by reviewing all relevant internal and external reporting for accuracy and consistency. Maintain FP&A procedures to align with internal control requirements
Coordinate with the FP&A team to produce accurate, timely forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans
Provide ad hoc analyses to the CFO and senior finance leadership as needed
Skills Were Stoked About
Bachelors in Finance or related field; MBA preferred
3-4 years progressive FP&A experience
Self-motivated work style with the capacity to work well under pressure and multi-task with minimal direct supervision in a team environment
Attention to Detail: Appropriately checks all work for errors and does not let important details slip when it comes to data and its accuracy.
Easily build relationships across the organization and optimize those connections
Ability to take an ambiguous concept/task and complete in an effective way with minimal direction
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to convey information concisely at an executive level, written and verbally
Knowledge of financial tools and processes and understanding of accounting principles
Advanced proficiency with Excel
Experience with NetSuite, Workiva and Planful (formerly Host Analytics) preferred
