About the Position
As a highly consumer-centric and data-driven organization, GoPro has an incredible opportunity for a high-impact Consumer Insights Manager who is passionate about studying consumers and communicating why they behave and feel the way they do. Reporting to the Sr. Dir of Insights and Analytics, this role will work across departments to help optimize product features, software experiences, business models, and marketing communications by bringing the voice of the customer to life through a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. We are looking for a creative thinker who can proactively drive research projects from ideation to analysis and ultimately provide actionable and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
Understand ongoing company initiatives and identify opportunities to address key strategic questions that can be answered through consumer insights
Design, program, and analyze consumer research projects, working closely with Product, Marketing, and Design teams
Collaborate with Analytics and UX Research teams to develop a comprehensive and compelling understanding of consumer behavior that will help drive growth and mitigate risk
Effectively communicate research findings across the organization, from peers to senior leadership
Skills Were Stoked About
5+ years experience in a Consumer Insights role
Highly detail-oriented and organized at managing multiple initiatives and projects
Hands-on experience writing and programming surveys
Strong experience with trade-off methodologies and software
Qualitative research recruiting and or moderating experience
Experience working with UX Research teams
Strong analytical thinking
Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape
Strong client management skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with Tableau for survey analysis
