The Content Strategy Manager oversees the development of a broad inventory of data optimized creative to deliver a best-in-class content strategy in support of our direct to consumer business goals.
The ideal candidate is an analytical, critical thinker with a long-term vision who can translate insights and opportunities into E-Commerce programs and transactional tactics that get results. We are looking for a forward-thinking candidate who can understand changing markets, get inside the heads of our target customer, distill complex concepts and data, articulate compelling channel strategies, and engage our creative teams.
What You Will Do
Propose strategic content models and programming plans for landing pages, products categories, corporate pages and other templates across the site
Create UX content strategy support materials such as presentations, template briefs, personas, journey, user flows, etc., to visually demonstrate concepts, align the teams and drive projects forward
Partner with UX, UI and visual designers as well as the E-Comm team and web developers to create impactful and measurable customer experiences
Utilize data-driven insights, shifts in the market, multi variate testing results and technology advancements to evolve the underlying content strategy, and communicate these changes to the teams.
Partner with SEO experts to identify opportunities to increase new visitor traffic and implement relevant content strategies
Develop standards and best practices for the creation, management, maintenance, and governance of content, overseeing both editorial and technological processes in an agile environment while ensuring that all content that is published is properly edited and quality controlled
Ensure that content quality and messaging is measured and evaluated on an ongoing basis using research and data to ensure ROI on content production and conversion effectiveness
Establish and maintain a workflow for requesting, creating, publishing, evaluating, and retiring content
Evangelize the benefits of a cross-channel content strategy and ensure content is utilized cross-functionally with other channels where applicable
Develop and maintain a robust content calendar outlining new content development as well as optimization of existing content
Ensure that the following best practices are being met: conduct content audits to assess and evaluate content quality, conduct competitive analyses of content, and prepare gap analysis to identify new content to be developed to reach audiences targeted by the E-Comm team.

Proven ability to drive change and results through influential leadership skills
Deep understanding of current and future digital trends across platforms
Solid background in UX, SEO and SEM principles and methodologies
Effective verbal, writing, strategic thinking, conceptualization, presentation and facilitation skills
A proven track record of successfully strategizing and executing digital programs that drive business growth
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
