WP Suspension North America- a subsidiary of WP Performance Systems, a global leader in development and production of premium suspension components for the most demanding powersports conditions – has an exciting opportunity for a SALES & MARKETING MANAGER located in Murrieta, California.

SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, the Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for Sales, Dealer Development and Management, controlling sales expenses, and sales reporting for North America. Ensures that the Company’s products and services are being represented in a quality manner for maximum customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Function Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sales planning, sales forecasts, and achieving all sales department quotas.
• Maintains and updates sales data, forecasts and reports.
• Interfaces with Authorized Centers (AC’s) for sale of WP Products.
• May perform various AC Development duties by identifying potential new AC’s, AC’s for performance improvement, to fill open spots, or to be terminated.
• Meets with Business Development Manager on a regular basis for guidance, status updates, and to aid in progress in meeting quotas.

Marketing Function Responsibilities:

• Oversees news and racing sections of WP corporate website.
• Oversees US social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Participates in the development of social media campaigns in order to maximize engagement and grow following. Arranges all postings with various parties, as needed. Supports Canadian social media from time to time.
• Performs market research and analysis. Includes collecting / compiling information, presenting findings to management and making recommendations. Understands and communicates best practices in marketing.
• Responsible for developing print and digital advertising plans. Adheres to the media / advertising plan by collaborating with other departments to deliver advertising materials. Tracks and generates reports on all media coverage. Creates, monitors and adheres to advertising and promotional materials / campaigns budgets.
• Prepares marketing department special presentations, slides and other decks.
• Maintains the marketing department’s documentation and consumer databases.
• Using knowledge, skills and experience, contributes ideas for improving marketing processes and standards.
• Organizes and participates at event activations and product tests. Interacts with the public, press and industry contacts in representation of the brand. Under minimal supervision, may act as a lead at event activations.

Other Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervisory duties including hiring, firing, scheduling, timecard approvals, performance evaluations, coaching, training, disciplinary actions, task assignment, goal setting and team meetings/communications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
