Slingshot Sports LLC is in search of a Lead Graphic Designer to join the team in Hood River, OR for a full time in-office position.
You will report to the Marketing Communications Manager and work closely with the CEO, Co-Founder/Chief Designer, Sales Managers, R+D Team and Brand Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES // include but are not limited to:
• Inspire and collaborate with your co-workers to produce inventive, thoughtful, relevant work for our industry.
• Support all aspects of design and production for your team’s projects, focusing on innovation and quality.
• Understand and work within project parameters: product goals and requirements, internal goals, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule.
• Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve your work.
• Cultivate and understand industry trends and share your insights with the company.
• Explore possibilities of digital execution from social media to mobile and beyond.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with current staff and outside vendors.
• Develop brand guidelines; ensure consistent branding throughout product lines and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with local and international departments, printers, photographers, agencies and retailers.
• Delegate and manage creative work to junior graphic designer, contract designers and artists.
• Work closely with the sales, R+D, marketing and Brand Managers to execute on the creative strategy of our brand.
• Design creative projects for our marketing and communications department.
• Create and maintain graphics and photography library.
• Organize and prioritize the creative work of three brands in different product categories.(Slingshot Sports, Ride Engine and Moonshine MFG)
• Develop designs specific to special markets, retailers and events.
• Manage product (studio) photo shoots.
• Clipping and color correcting product images.
• Manage on line sharing platform for all design assets.
• Manage conception and execution of all design collateral, including: print ads, catalogs, web assets, sales tech sheets, print advertising, tradeshow and event build outs, apparel, board graphics, product and action photography shot lists and social media.
