About this role
The Pro Programs Marketing Specialist is an integral role in the ECommerce Team at Outdoor Research. As the Pro Programs Marketing Specialist, you’ll bring passion for customer marketing and the ability to leverage your experience of growing internal sales programs to help manage and drive the revenue and profitability of Outdoor Research’s Pro Purchase Programs. You’ll be responsible for maintaining/evolving the parameters of existing Pro groups, vetting applicants, as well as developing and implementing a growth strategy for new customers within the outdoor industry. Your love for understanding the customer and increasing lifetime value will drive you to continually analyze sale trends and purchase behaviors to optimize marketing campaigns and the program overall.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and grow the approved pro organization database
• Vet and approve new applicants on a timely basis
• Continually monitor & evaluate member base to ensure only qualified pros are enrolled in programs
• Ensure members are following program policies
• Develop and implement a new renewal process for expiring members
• Evolve the Qualified Organization Database to expedite the approval process and put clear parameters around individual/company requirements for existing pro groups
• Develop customer acquisition programs to meet or exceed both revenue and member participation growth goals
• Assist with email marketing planning/strategy to align messaging and promotional communications – with emphasis on targeting specific customer segments and behaviors
• Aid in the asset management/delivery for external Pro Programs
• Key player in developing and launching parameters and communication for a new Retail Specific Program
• Assist in revenue and inventory forecasting to support channel goals
